RE: Request for Criminal Investigation BISD - Part Two

Chief Garcia, BPD
FBI Field Office, 1700 Paredes Line Rd
Brownsville, Texas 78520

Via Hand Delivery

Dear Gentlemen:

The enclosed grand jury referral filed with the Honorable Judge Cornejo-Lopez speaks to the alleged criminal acts.

When identical claims surfaced with a school district in Hidalgo County the FBI investigate and prosecuted the wrongdoers.

I do not know if anything is true or false in Mr. Juarez’s lawsuit and sworn to statements. What I do know is he only mentions former Board Member Otis Powers by name in terms of a bribe. He does allege contract rigging in terms of other Board Members but does not mention their names.
The appearance is, Mr. Juarez is saying, I will name names if I have to, but for now I am only naming the one person who cannot vote to protect my job.

If these claims are true related to bribes and contract rigging, each of you have a duty to seek prosecution of the alleged wrongdoers.

I am filing this complaint only in my capacity as a concerned citizen.

Sincerely,

Bobby Wightman-Cervantes
xc: Judge Cornejo-Lopez

Judge Elia Cornejo-Lopez is best friends with Richard Zayas. He is also her attorney on several matters. There is a conflict of interest. You can look up some current cases where she is involved, Mr. Zayas has assigned the cases to his law partner, but Mr. Zayas has represented her before and continues.
Good luck.

A little bird.

Yowza!! Keep it up, Bobby! The BISD board tentacles extend long and deep (although for some reason, none of them is especially articulate!)

Rock on.

Don't you think they were contacted before you went in? Texas limits grand jury referrals to credible persons not concerned citizens, does it not?

To last anony - I think you should go to Chief Garcia, the FBI and the Grand Jury and tell them I am not credible and that they should therefor ignore what was alleged by Juarez, not me.

Everyone in town will know when you are there because the laughter at the FBI office will be so loud it will shake Brownsville.

I posted through your comment so people can understand the complete and total level of ignorance by those who support the corruption which keeps Brownsville down.

I thought Kent Whittemore's grievance was substantiated because he had copies of change order requests/contract changes that the prior board was manipulating? I heard the board voted 4 (Pena, Cortez, Zayas, Aguilar) and the other 3 abstained to remand it to level II where he lost.
I am disappointed that his attorney Shergold did not let this stuff surface.

I have no knowledge of what this is about. Could some enlighten me. Also based on the comment I am not sure did he win or did he loose?

Mr. Shergold, you can see how Otis Powers was able to provide a clear statement in his defense. You are invited to do the same for your client. It will be posted without editing. Your choice.

If the post means your client won - good for him and job well done.

This is what I "hear":
think back now everyone....Kenneth Lieck got moved to Warehouse/Kent Whittemore got moved FROM Warehouse to Purchasing last year. Why? Well, there are many theories but the prevailing one was that Kenneth was getting tired of all the contract changes and the super got tired of him and switched them. Kenneth filed a grievance and 'won' but did not get his old job back.
This year Kent gets tired of all of the change orders, complains and gets harassed by the soup and the board, allegedly. He files a grievance and loses at level I. It goes to Level II and still loses. He wants his old job back and for people to stop bothering him. This goes on from October until last night when the board finally heard his level III. They vote to send it back to Level II. So whatever he "got" from Level II he will keep. But as for Level III, not gonna happen.
See why Juarez filed his junk? it is all related.
But wait, oh, wait! This is good destraction from the person who was at focus to begin with=you got it: the soup!

I hate novellas - John Shergold - please chime in for your client.

For the record, I think the ROTC guy will win on the open meetings issue - but be careful what you ask for - I am told the reason for the reprimand was pretty solid - you might win the battle but loose the war on that one

The move of Lieck to the warehouse and Kent to purchasing was at least two or three years ago.
