BISD'S PERSONNEL NEEDS to contact DISD with a list of opendings. I am certain qualified Dallas teachers will head down to Brownsville at the speed of light.

Right now BISD has no listed teacher openings because of student enrollment shifts and movement of staff that is being done. BISD was in the same situation a few years back after Sauceda but on a smaller scale. There are a few non teaching certified positions available the district is more completely staffed than it has been for many years. BISD does not need the Dallas cast offs. The first to go are not fully certified then poor evaluations then based on seniority. No thank you Dallas.

As of last week Oliveira still had a sub teaching 7th grade math. I guess they filled it or decided to allow a sub to teach full time.

There are other openings which could be filled by people being laid off in Dallas.
